Baby Dedication Sunday

This is before the service.
Jewell looked like such a princess this morning.

   This morning was morning was baby dedication Sunday at Northside Christian Church.  What a joy! Kyle and I, along with many other parents, stood before the church to vow that we would raise Jewell in a godly home, be good examples for her, and teach her about Jesus and the love of the Lord.  The Spirit really grabbed hold of me as we did this.  I cried tears of joy as we were up there.  I am such a proud parent. :-)

   The congregation also took a vow to help support us as parents and show love to our child as she grows up.  Grandma, Grandpa, Granny, Grandpa, and Gigi (Brenda, Bob, Susan, Rolf, and Mitzie) were there with us this morning.  It was great to have them there and worship as a big family together.

Throughout the 4 services about 150 babies were dedicated this weekend.

First Valentine's Day

Jewell's first Valentine's Day!  Kyle brought home balloons for Jewell and me.  I was surprised that she wasn't more entertained by the balloons bouncing back when she hit them.  The shiny silver bundle that weighed  them down seemed much more intriguing.
