Halloween

   It was so much fun to dress Jewell up for Halloween.  She was a cute little panda bear. (We debated whether she really looked like a panda or a cow; either way, it was adorable!)
   We went over to Susan and Rolf's where all of our nieces and nephews came over in their costumes and granny and grandpa had great costumes to go along with them!  We then went over to Wind Dance Farms subdivision and went trick-or-treating with Anna, one of Liz's friends, and Anna's cousins.  Having a dressed up little sister gave Liz a good reason to go trick-or-treating as a chicken.
   This was a really fun day.  I wonder if having Jewell dress up in the future will inspire me to want to dress up to entertain her friends and fun with it too.

Peek-A-Boo

I played peek-a-boo with Jewell for about 20 minutes tonight. It seemed to be the first time she really thought that it was hilarious. I think I laughed about as much as she did. It was so cute to see her so excited about it. :-)

Harvest Homecoming

 This was Jewell's first Harvest Homecoming.  She worked Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School's booth with me.  We sold chocolate bread pudding and soda.  Of course, we worked the Friday morning shift, so we didn't have too many customers.  It was still fun to show her off to people as they walked by though.  I think she drew quite a bit of extra attention to our booth because people kept looking over and commenting on how cute she is.  I think all that hard work really wore her out.

Homemade outfit

 This was the first day it got pretty cool out this year, so Jewell got to wear this hat and sweater to church with me.  This was the first thing I crocheted when we found out that we were having a girl.  She looked SO cute in it.  I think the hat will continue to fit her through the winter, but she is growing so fast that it won't fit too long.
